Bold graphics in this dramatic, postally unused 1907-1915 patriotic postcard celebrating Decoration Day and the efforts of the Union Army! GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) logo at top, with GAR hat insignia and medal also seen. All on a patriotic red, white and blue backdrop, with an American flag and wreath for remembrance. Says “To My Comrade” at bottom left. Profusely gilded and embossed. Judicious use of glitter in the American flag and wreath lend extra sparkle to this desirable holiday or military collectible, which is in excellent condition.
